Nora Bresnehen

Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita, 918-256-5555. --- Nora Florence (Bottom) Bresnehen, 91 year old resident of Miami, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday evening, June 4, 2016 at Eastwood Manor in Commerce. She was born on March 2, 1925 in Perryville, Kentucky to Gilbert and Madge (Black) Bottom. Nora was married to James Madison Bresnehen on May 21, 1949 in Dekalb, Illinois. The lived in Illinois until 1983 when they moved to northeast Oklahoma. Nora was retired from Northern Illinois University. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband James in 2013 and a sister Brenda Barr. The family includes: her daughter, Phyllis Bates and son, Mike Bresnehen both of Miami; brothers, Carol Dean Bottoms and Ernest Lee Bottoms; two grandchildren, Nick Bresnehen and Jamie Spohn; and one great-grandchild, James Bresnehen. Private graveside service will be held on Monday, June 6, 2016 at the Timpson Chapel Cemetery west of Vinita. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
