Norman Cramer

Norman Ray Cramer, age 74, died on Monday, January 2, 2012 at the Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Arkansas. Norman was born on March 2, 1937 in Lowell, Kansas. He was the son of Clarence H. and Ruby M. (Fry) Cramer. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Edna Schnick in March of 1955 in Miami, Oklahoma. Norman owned and operated Cramer's Grocery in Baxter Springs, Cramer Meats in Joplin, Missouri, and Cramer Quality Meats in Grove, retiring in 2002. Norman enjoyed rebuilding classic cars, traveling, spending time with family and spoiling his grandchildren. Norman was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers James & Joseph Cramer. He is survived by his loving wife Edna of the home, two sons Norman R. Cramer, II and his wife Jessica and Jonathan Cramer; two daughters Belinda Bledsoe and her husband Russell and Charlotte Crouch and her husband John, one brother Harold "Rocky" Cramer and two sisters Phyllis Brown and her husband Larry, and Beulah Gaston. Norman was blessed with ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Elk River Baptist Church, north of Grove, Oklahoma with Pastor Ed Glasgow officiating. Norman will be laid to rest in the Olympus North Cemetery in Grove, Oklahoma. Friends and family may leave online condolences by viewing Norman's obituary at www.honoringmemories.com.
