Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita, 918-256-5555. ---- Patricia Ruth (Draper) Bornstein, 85 year old former Vinita resident, died Wednesday October 8, 2014 at the Summit Place Assisted Living Center in Beaufort, South Carolina. She was born on July 3, 1929 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Burt and Ruth (Mendenhall) Draper. Patricia graduated high school in Colorado and then nursing school in Riverside, California. She worked as a Registered Nurse many years. Patricia lived in Vinita during the 1990's making many friends and enjoyed her time here with her brother and sister in-law, Mark and Mary Draper. She was an avid reader, loved her Sooners and Dallas Cowboys football teams, and following Rev. Billy Graham. Preceding her in death were her parents; three sisters and four brothers. The family includes; her daughter, Ruth Ann Smith and husband Ken of Green Pond, South Carolina; three grandchildren, Stephanie Ann Fesmire, Leslie Ann Rickman, Kenneth Michael Smith, Jr.; four great-grandchildren, Hannah Madison Smith, Noa Madelyn Smith, Eden Michael Smith, Hayden Dean Rickman; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at 2:00 PM at the Luginuel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Skip McClain officiating. Interment will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Claremore. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
