BENJAMIN FUNERAL SERVICE, NOWATA, OK - Patricia Faye "Pat" Smith of Nowata passed away on Friday afternoon, September 18, 2015, at St. John's Medical Center in Tulsa. Pat was born March 6, 1936 in Wanette, Oklahoma, to W. V. and Eula Henry Perkins. She moved to Nowata at an early age and was educated in Nowata schools. She has lived most of her life in Nowata. Pat married James Leon "Jim" Smith on September18, 1981 at Hillside Christian Church in Nowata. She retired from Phillips Petroleum Company where she worked in sales. Pat was a member of Hillside Christian Church and worked with the children there. She had been a member of the Saints and Sinners Square Dance Club. Pat enjoyed cross-stitching, reading, antiquing and travelling. Pat and Jim bird hunted together and also enjoyed bird-watching. Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband Jim of the home as well as her daughter Karen Ann Lambert and husband Gary of Vilonia, Arkansas, and her son Mike Boultinghouse and his wife Laurinda of Nowata, Oklahoma, her step-daughters Vicki Artz of Dewey, Oklahoma and Linda Garretson of Bartlesville. Grandchildren surviving are Krisa Bell of Vilonia, Arkansas; Nathan Lambert of McKinney, Texas; Caitlyn Boultinghouse and K. C. Boultinghouse, both of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; and step-grandchildren, Trey Shaw and Tom Shaw and Sansa Munoz of Corpus Christi, Texas. Mrs. Smith is also survived by her sister Verna M. Cannon of Ada, Oklahoma; and her brothers, Fred Perkins of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Bill Perkins of Ada, Oklahoma. She will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, as well as her many friends. Services for Patricia Faye "Pat" Smith will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, September 21, 2015, at Hillside Christian Church in Nowata with Reverend Van Longbons officiating. Soloist will be Margie Riner, accompanied by Marilyn Custer, both Pat's long-time friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Hillside Christian Church Youth, 1348 West Davis Drive, Nowata, OK 74048. She will be interred at Memorial Park Cemetery in Nowata.
