Raymond Kirby

Raymond Edward “Cork” Kirby, 87, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 in Eucha, Oklahoma.

Cork was born on February 21, 1932 in Fairview Holler to Rollie and Roxie (Henderson) Kirby. He drove a school bus for Kansas Public Schools for over 50 years.

Raymond was greeted in heaven by his parents, his wife Edith (Griggs) Kirby, and his brothers and sisters; Wanda, James, August, Emory and Claude.  He leaves behind his children; Steve Kirby and his wife Doris, Paul Kirby, Billy Kirby and Nyoka Kirby. He was blessed with eleven grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren.

Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Monday, January 6, 2020 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Jay, Oklahoma.  Raymond will be laid to rest in the Mose Ridge Cemetery.  Online condolences can be made at www.honoringmemories.com or on the Worley-Luginbuel Facebook page.
