Reba "Lois" McFadden, age 83 and resident of Dewey, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, in the Jane Phillips Medical Center, Bartlesville.. Lois was born June 8, 1934 in Shady Point, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of William Pennington Garrett and Willie Edith (Vanmeter) Garrett. She grew up in Shady Point, Bennington and Poteau in S.E. Oklahoma. After receiving her formal education, she moved to Southern California. She moved back to the Bartlesville/Dewey area in 2005 where she continued to live prior to her death. Lois was of the Pentecostal religion. She had many interests, but she especially loved to play cards. Lois was dedicated to her family and will be greatly missed. Lois is survived by son, Bobby Olin Thompson and his wife, Lisa D., of Dewey; daughter, Lynnda Kaye Arrington and her husband, Donald, also of Dewey; daughter, Debbie Lucille Stock and her husband, Brad, of Ontario, California; and daughter, Melody Lea Stevens and her husband, Michael, of Dewey; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one sister, Jo McDonald and her husband, Dewey, of Ada, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; the love of her life, Kenneth Harris, Sr.; three brothers, Olin, Lee and Billy Garrett; and five sisters, Alice Goff, Phala Harris, Ernestine Harris, Barbara Sue White and Betty Lou Craycraft. Come and go visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00-8:00 PM and on Friday from 9:00 AM-8:00 PM in the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home, 710 S. Dewey Ave. Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM in the Dewey City Cemetery. Pastor Sherman Jaquess, of the Matoaka Baptist Church, will officiate.
