Rebecca "Becky" Mae Watson, 50, passed away at her home on Friday, November 28, 2008. Becky was born to Buck and Lena Mae (Jackman) Watson on July 13, 1958 in Miami, Oklahoma. She attained her BS from Oklahoma State University and then her master's degree from Northeastern State University. She worked as a youth director during her college years in Grove at the First United Methodist Church. She loved to fish, garden and her animals. One of her greatest joys was spoiling her Nieces and Nephews. Ms. Watson was a School Administrator in the Clarke County School Districts for the last 15 years; she worked for five years in Oklahoma at Afton, Cushing and Chandler and five years as a teacher before starting her work in administration. Becky was preceded in death by her mother Lena Mae Watson on December 6, 1998. Survivors include her father Buck Watson and his wife Sharon of Grove, her sister Debra Facio and her husband Anthony of Grove and Brother Roger Watson and his wife Danna of Weatherford, her step sister Keni Iverson and her husband Eric of Grove, Step brother Derek Derwin and his wife Crystal of Miami along with nine Nieces and Nephews. Many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Funeral Services for Becky will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in Grove with Reverend Randy Hamill officiating. Interment will follow in the Fields Cemetery under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Cook, Keith Fields, Eric Iverson, Derek Derwin, Matt Gault, and Jimmy Roberts. Honorary Pallbearers are Dean Barrett and Will Harrington.
