Rheba Sands

Rheba Juanita Sands, 83 year old, Grove, Oklahoma resident passed away Friday, August 30, 2013 in Grove, Oklahoma. Rheba was born on December 26, 1929 in Webb City, Missouri, to Marion and Maude (Price) Long. She attended school in Grove, Oklahoma. Rheba was a homemaker most of her life, but she enjoyed helping her husband Harrison Roy Sands run a commercial fishing business on Grand Lake. She was a hard worker who enjoyed cooking, and reading. Rheba was preceded in death by her husband Harrison Roy Sands, and two sons, Rickey Sands, and Roy Sands J.r. Rheba is survived by a son, Ed and wife Mary, of Miami, Florida, a brother Mike Long, of Monkey-Island, Oklahoma, two sisters Maxine Edwards, of Monkey-Island, Oklahoma, and Leona, McNeal, of Showlow Arizona. Rheba is also survived by four grandchildren, Brian Sands, Amy Heath, Robert Joseph Sands, and Rita Hoover, and four great grandchildren, Timmy Harry and Abby Heath, and Gracie Sands. Graveside services for Rheba will be held at a 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 6, 2013 at Olympus cemetery in Grove, Oklahoma.
