Rickey Leon Alspach, 77, passed from this life into eternal rest on February 19, 2023, at his residence in Delaware, Oklahoma.
He was born on January 16, 1946, to Floyd Everette and Imogene (Snider) Alspach. He received his education from Dewey High School. Rickey worked as an operator in road construction for many years, working for Bellco and Ed Witty. On August 30, 2008, Rickey married the love of his life, Penny Louise.
Anyone who knew Rickey knew he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He clearly preferred spending his time outdoors camping, hunting, and fishing. It can be noted that Rickey must have been a pretty good fisherman because he always had a deep freeze full of fish. Rickey was also a good bowler and was on a bowling team in Nowata in his younger years. When he was not fishing, Rickey would also enjoy riding around and looking at the water.
Above all, Rickey loved his family and enjoyed spending every spare moment he could with them. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish the memory of a wonderful man include his wife; Penny Louise Alspach, his children; Brady Alspach, Tammy Kay Phelps, Tasha Toler, Waylon Wickliffe, and Abby Wickliffe, his grandchildren; Riley, Hayden, Rikki, Megan, Mariah, Stormy, Jayden, Macayla, Sidney, Jamie, Payton, Paxton, Kaileigh, Bella, Wyatt, Brynlee, and Walker his great-grandchildren; Collin and Irie, his brothers; Larry, Terry, Jerry, Gary, and Scott, his sisters; Trojia, Linda, Debbie, Marcia, and Kelly, many nieces, nephews, and other family members, as well as a host of friends.
Rickey is preceded in death by his parents; Floyd and Imogene, his late wife; Sharon Kaye, his brothers; Mike, Roddy, and Max, and his sisters; Beverly and Carolyn Kaye.
