Ricky Gale Twitchell, 62, of Nowata passed away Monday, June 23, 2014 at his home. He was born July 23, 1951 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Clifford Earl and Helen Marie (Thomasson) Twitchell. Ricky married Eva Tillman February 18, 1972. Ricky moved from Columbus, Kansas to Nowata and had resided in the area for the last twenty six years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a lifetime member of the NRA. He was a good mechanic and could fix almost anything. He loved his family very much and held a special place in his heart for his wife, children, and grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him. Ricky is survived by his wife Eva Twitchell of the home; a daughter, Dana Michelle and her husband Justin Swalley of Nowata; three siblings, Susan Twitchell, Terry Twitchell, Joey Twitchell; two grandchildren, Daniel Wayne Myers and his wife Eva Linn, Jheri Michelle Myers; a great granddaughter, Lilly Marie Rose Myers. He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Richard Dale Twitchell; two siblings, Danny Dale Twitchell, Sammy Hale Twitchell.
