Family will be receiving friends from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M., Thursday, November 23, 2017 at Benjamin Funeral Service. Rikky Jeane Emberson,73, passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 in Tulsa at Cancer Treatment Center of America. He was born February 10, 1944 in Nowata to Frank and Mary (Stipe) Emberson. He was a 1962 graduate of Nowata High School and on May 22, 1968 he married the love of his life Jean Huffstickler in Miami, Florida. They were married forty nine years, six months, and twenty nine days. Rikky was a member of the United States Navy and worked as a Ranch hand in the Chelsea and Nowata area before starting a career at Phillips Petroleum in Bartlesville. He was a member of the Bartlesville Masonic Lodge #284, the Scottish Rite, York Rite and Eastern Star. Rikky was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting arrowheads, working on his lawn, and raising beautiful flower gardens. He was a wonderful uncle to his nieces and nephews. Rikky will be missed by all who knew him. Rikky is survived by his wife Jean of the home; three siblings, Jack Emberson and wife Sandy, Gary Emberson and wife Debbi, Mike Emberson and wife Sheila, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Emberson. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com.
