Robert "Bob" Lee Coblentz

Robert “Bob” Lee Coblentz ,67, passed from this life into eternal rest on the evening of July 14, 2023, at Ascension Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He was born in Davenport, Iowa to Amos Coblentz and Laura (Smith) Coblentz.

Bob grew up in Iowa and attended high school and community college there. He moved to Nowata 30 years ago and married Patricia “Pat” Coblentz on April 27, 2002. Bob had a special place in his heart for elderly people and worked as a nursing aide for many years. He worked at the Hays House, as well as other facilities in the area. He enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting, and fishing. Bob also enjoyed working on cars.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents: Amos and Laura Coblentz, his brother: Tracy, and his children: Cynthia Coblentz and Johnnie Coblentz.

Bob is survived by his wife Pat Coblentz; his children: Samantha Allen, Shawn Coblentz, Bobbi Jo Coblentz, and Barbara Cole; his stepchildren: Jr. Welsh, John Welsh, and Steve Cole, his siblings: Cindy, Don, and Mark, as well as many grandchildren, other family members and many friends.

A Funeral service for Bob will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Benjamin Funeral Service Chapel with Reverend Colin Kirk officiating. Interment will follow at the Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery.
