Roland Kennedy

Roland Keith Kennedy, 60, a resident of Grove passed away at his home on Friday, October 8, 2010. He was born on August 21, 1949 in Los Angeles, California to Alfred and Jeaniel (Cavender) Kennedy. Roland worked for Southern Pacific Pipelines as a pipeliner for many years. He loved fishing, History, reading, collecting coins, and listening to Celtic music. Every week he played the lotto, twice a week never missed. Mr. Kennedy was preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Jeaniel Kennedy, a brother Bobby Kennedy and sister Gloria Jackson. Survivors include two daughters Erin Kennedy of Newport Beach, California, Carrie Jones of Grove, a brother Rory Kennedy of Norman, four sisters Colleen Wildey of California, Sarah Kyser of Miami, Oklahoma, Grace Peach and Juanita Kennedy both of California and one grandchild Seajay Jones. Graveside services for Roland were on Friday, October 8, 2010 at the Wyandotte Cemetery under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.
