Ronald Cornelius

Ronald Eugene Cornelius, 56, passed away at his family home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 of natural causes. He was born July 3, 1957 at Houston, Texas to Archie J. Cornelius and Helen (Berger) Cornelius. Ron moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma at an early age and began his education there. The family moved to Bartlesville, where he graduated high school. He attended OSU and later received his Law Degree from Texas Wesleyan University. Ron was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving eight years and obtaining his undergraduate degree while in the service. He met and married Milagros "Mila" Canceran on June 1, 2001 at Dallas, Texas. Ron worked as a Real Estate Paralegal for Norman L. "Happy" Nelson, Jr., Attorney at Law in Richardson, Texas while attending to family business in Bartlesville. Ron was a kind and gentle person, who tried to please everyone he met. He was a member of Dallas North 12 Step Recovery Group, where he made friends and helped many newcomers. Ron's humor and wit was ever present and his ability to look on the bright side of will be remembered by his family, friends and many acquaintances. Ron is survived by his wife, Mila of the home in Dallas; his mother, Jo Anna of Bartlesville; sisters, Becky and Cheryl and their husbands; one brother, Joe; nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Archie.
