Rosalee Fink, longtime Nowata resident, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Osage Nursing Center surrounded by family. She was born on September 20, 1930, in Lenapah, Oklahoma to Thomas Clark and Clara Bell (Mitchell) Huffman. She married Everett Fink on October 30, 1947, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.
Rosalee was a devoted wife and mother, spending her entire life as a homemaker. She was a proud Christian and longstanding member of the First Church of God in Nowata since 1961. She diligently lived out her faith and served the Kingdom through the local church, holding various positions throughout the years. In addition, she was a volunteer dispatcher for 1033 Emergency Team in Nowata.
Rosalee is survived by her children, Butch Fink and wife, Kathy, Mike Fink and wife, Debbie, Jan Parrish and husband, Stewart, and Beverly Goldsmith and husband, Ron; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett; brothers, Thomas Clyde Huffman, William Clark Huffman, and Delos Edward Huffman; and an infant sister.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Benjamin Funeral Service. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 24, 2025, at the First Church of God in Nowata with Pastor Wendell Abbott officiating. A private family interment will follow at Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery.
