Arrangements have been entrusted to Benjamin Funeral Service. Roy Barton Green, 61, of Catoosa, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at ST. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was born January 14, 1955 in Lubbock, TX to Roy Cleon and Mary Alyce (Hutton) Green. Roy graduated from Nowata High School and continued his education for many years at Vo-Tech Schools while working in the janitorial department there. He joined the United States Navy where he served his country after high school. He was of the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints faith. Roy had three children one of which passed away very early in life. He enjoyed staying healthy and working out. He loved music and played the guitar. His family meant so much to him and he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Roy loved talking to anyone. He had many friends and could talk for hours. Roy will be missed by his family and all who knew him. Roy is survived by his mother, Alyce Hagebusch of Nowata; two children, Tonya Miller and husband Ted of Delaware, Gregory Green of Claremore; three sisters, Cynthia Green Province, Stephanie Green Johnson, Jennifer Green Privitt and four grandchildren, Ethan Green, Gunnar Miller, Teddy Miller, Stormy Miller. He is preceded in death by his father, Roy Cleon Green, and a daughter, Regina Green. The family suggests donations to help pay for services for Roy be left at Benjamin Funeral Service in Nowata.
