Roy Overton

Roy R. Overton, age 93, died December 7, 2007 in the St Johns Regional Medical Center in Joplin, MO. The son of Herbert Overton and Alma Clemmons Overton, he was born on January 2, 1914 in Chicago, ILL. Roy married Mildred in Chicago, IL on June 12, 1937. They lived in Chicago, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Leawood, KS and Grove, OK. Surviving are his wife of 70 years Mickey A son Scott Overton and wife Mary in Kerrville, TX A daughter Bonnie Anglewicz in Grove, OK Granddaughters Kiera Anglewicz in Spring Hill, TX, Kelly Langton and husband Chris in Shawnee, KS, Alexis Overton in Friendswood, TX, Elizabeth Overton in The Woodlands, TX, Great granddaughter Alyssa Langton and Step great grandson Alex Langton in Shawnee, KS. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday December 11, 2007 at 10:30 AM in the Grace Presbyterian Church in Grove with Reverend Dr. Deborah Meinke officiating. In lieu of flowers the Family suggests donations to the Grace Presbyterian Church to be used for the Choir. The services are under the directions of the Worley-Luginbuel funeral Home in Grove, OK.
