Rueberta Jumper

Rueberta Ann Jumper, 56 year old Jay area resident passed from this life on April 6, 2012. She was born on May 2, 1955 to Bert Jumper and Nancy Proctor. Rueberta worked as a caregiver for many years. She was a hard working single mother. Rueberta raised 5 children, April, Joe, Josh, Hoobie and Jarrod, and was a mother figure to many other children. Rueberta was a very loving woman, who always had a smile on her face and had a great sense of humor. She opened her heart and home to many. Rueberta was a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church and loved spending time with friends and family. Holidays with family and friends were very important to her. She loved to sew and go to garage sales. Rueberta was preceded in death by her father, Bert Jumper; her mother, Nancy Proctor-Guess; two brothers, Larry Grass and Walter Guess; and one son, Josh Haff. She is survived by her father, David Guess of Jay, OK; two brothers Raymond Guess and his wife Patsy of Jay, OK, Nathan Guess of Jay, OK; two sisters, Beverly Flannigan of Ketchum, OK, and Michelle Guess of Ketchum, OK; one daughter, April Roberts and her husband, Link of Haskell, OK; three sons, Jeremiah "Hoobie" Haff of Ketchum, OK, Jarrod Haff of Ketchum, OK, and Joe Haff; a special nephew Newlly Ryan of the home; her best friend Tracy Bryant-Foote of Ketchum and a host of relatives. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday April 12, 2012 at Brush Creek Baptist Church. Serving as casket bearers will be Rex Chandler, CJ McCord, Calvin Compton, Travis Gibson, Jake Yancey, Zack Hanna, Dustin Moore, and Trevor Bigger.
