Ruth Phillips

Ruth Emma Phillips, age 93, died on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Monroe Manor in Jay, Oklahoma. Ruth was the daughter of William and Cora (Weatherman) Craig, she was born on August 8, 1918 in Walnut Shade, Missouri. Ruth was the caretaker and manger of Stoney Point Lodge. She enjoyed gardening, canning, spending time with her family and was an all around farm girl. Ruth was a member of the Zena Baptist Church. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Mont Phillips, three brothers and one sister. She is survived by her two sons, Craig Phillips, and Robert Phillips and his wife Joyce, Ruth was bless with a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at the Wann Cemetery, Northwest of Gravette, Arkansas, with Chaplain David Rycroft officiating.
