Shirley Dunbar

Shirley Lee Barham Dunbar, age 74, of Bartlesville died at 6:30 a.m. Thursday February 14, 2008 at St. Frances Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. Shirley was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on June 13th 1933 to Henry Folk and Mary Louise Wright. She grew up in Bartlesville and attended Bartlesville schools. On June 18th 1949 she married Paul Jr. Barham in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. They had four children. She latter married Clarence E. Dunbar of the home. She was employed for 30 years with Phillips Cafeteria until her retirement on March 19th 1995. Shirley loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends. She loved all animals with a special fondness for cats. Shirley was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Shirley is survived by her husband Clarence of the home; two daughters Cindy P. Beato and her husband Robert of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Elizabeth L. King and her husband Larry of Bartlesville, Ok; one son David L. Barham of Ochelata, Ok; three grandchildren Robert E. Beato, Cynthia Beato Kempka and Laramie King; one sister Betty Barnhart; one niece and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Folk; Mother, Mary McCarty; step father Clyde McCarty and one daughter Leslie Kay Barham Shea. Pallbearers will include David L. Barham, Robert C. Beato, Larry G. King, Robert E. Beato and Laramie E. King. A memorial has been established with the Animal Rescue Foundation and those who wish to contribute may do so in lieu of flowers to the Animal Rescue Foundation, PO Box 3292, Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74005 Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2008 in the Colonial Chapel of the Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home, with Johnnie Lee officiating, burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
