Shirley Flo Swafford, 57, of Nowata passed away November 26, 2012 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville. She was born on April 8, 1955 in Nowata to Christopher David and Edna Marie (Pettit) Swafford. She graduated from Nowata High School and went on to be a Certified Nurse Aide. Shirley was a lifetime resident of Nowata and a member of Hillside Christian Church. She enjoyed her Sunday school class there. She will be missed by all who knew her. Shirley is survived by a sister, Billie Ann Minugh; four uncles, Roy Irons, Ted Irons, Bill Irons, Jack Irons; a special friend, Betty Holzhauser. She is preceded in death by her parents, Christopher and Edna Swafford and sister Judy Aline Swafford.
