Stanley Williams

Stanley Wayne "Stan" Williams, age 57, of Vinita died Thursday October 22, 2009 in Vinita. He was born July 24, 1952 in Vinita the son of Eldon (Red) Williams and Margaret Gilbert Williams. Stan attended Vinita schools and was a carpenter working in the Vinita area. He spent seven years as the caretaker of Cedar Coves at Grove. Stan loved his work in carpentry and if he wasn't working he was fishing. Stan leaves behind his mother, Margaret Williams of Vinita, three children, Jeff and Cindy Williams, Alesia and David Lee, and Kevin Williams all of Vinita, grand children, Sierra Williams, J.W. Williams, Matt Williams, Rebecka Williams, Cheyenne Moreland, Marcus Lee, Savannah Lee and Trey Lee, three brothers, Larry and Marie Williams of Vinita, Michael and Anne Williams of Vinita, Rick and Janice Williams of Tulsa, OK, a sister Jeanie and John Friend of Adair, OK and sister in law Judy Williams of Vinita, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Eldon "Red" Williams and one brother Tracy Williams. Graveside services will be Tuesday October 27, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Fairview Cemetery with Dean Williams officiating. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
