Funeral services for Stella Kaye Owensby are 10:00 A.M., Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Hillside Christian Church with Van Longbons officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock, Oklahoma. Stella Kaye Owensby, 76, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 at her residence in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was born February 28, 1941 in Shamrock, Oklahoma to Benjamin Anderson and Zeffie Josephine (Gooch) Owensby . Stella was a graduate of Cushing High School, in Cushing, Oklahoma. She married and had four wonderful children with Robert Henry Lane. In 1987 she married Billie Dewayne "Mac" McCaslin in Tucson, Arizona. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Coca-Cola Industries in Stillwater along with Steer Inn of Cushing. Stella was an active member of New Life Assembly of God. She loved the Arizona Diamondbacks along with being an OU Sooner football fan. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Stella had many friends and will be missed by all who knew her. Stella is preceded in death by her parents, Zeffie and Benjamin Owensby; husband Billie Dewayne "Mac" McCaslin; siblings, Tommy Owensby, Dale Owensby, Kenneth Owensby, Jackie Cannon, Deon Brake, Ruby Clary, Juanita McKain and Vivian Criner; two grandchildren Randy Sneed and Ayla Smith. Stella is survived by her first husband, Robert Henry Lane; four children, Alida Rae Lane of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Julie Gaye Lane and of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Timothy Robert Lane of Yale, Oklahoma, Aaron Paul Lane and wife Sarah of Piedmont, Oklahoma; sisters, Della Smith of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Freida Watkins and Dorothy Cannon; and two grandchildren, Shameka Lane and Leah Lane and four great grandchildren.
