Sue King

Sue Ann Shepherd-King passed into the presence of our Lord on January 13, 2013, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas, after a long illness. Sue was born in Chanute, Kansas on May 16, 1946. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eva Lou and her father, Conner H. Shepherd. She is survived by her daughters, Candice Tucker, of Denison, Texas, and Georgia King, of North East Missouri. She is also survived by her sister, Marie Patteson and husband Ben, of Morris, Oklahoma, brothers, David Shepherd and wife Melanie of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Johnny Shepherd and wife Georgia, of Summerville, South Carolina and sister, Leslie Bark and husband Bobby of Gravette, Arkansas. She is also survived by 5 nephews, one niece, and four grandchildren, two great nephews, and one great niece. She was a long time resident of Nowata, Oklahoma before moving to Okay, Oklahoma. She then moved to Denison, Texas where she worked at Texoma Medical center before her retirement in 2011. Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Benjamin Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow at Martin Cemetery, Nowata County, Oklahoma.
