Teddy “Ted” Joe Chamblin, 71, of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma passed away on July 17, 2022, at his residence. He was born to Buck Carl Chamblin and Maxine (Osborne) Chamblin-West in Odessa, Texas on May 23, 1951. Ted was the ninth and youngest child in the family. His mother remarried later to Thomas West, in which Ted was particularly close to.
Ted worked as a foundry technician, melting iron and various other metals. Throughout his life, Ted was also a volunteer on the fire department, as well as a reserve police officer. Ted was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles. In his younger years, Ted enjoyed playing golf with his son, Joe.
Ted is survived by his son; Joe Chamblin and wife, Stacey of Red Level, Alabama, his stepson; Scott Owens and wife, Lisa of Evergreen, Alabama, his granddaughter; Alyssa Chamblin Stuckey and husband, Devaughn Stuckey of Evergreen, Alabama, his great-granddaughter; Annarae Lucille Stuckey of Evergreen, Alabama, his lifelong best friend, Rodney Robson, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
