Terry “Tex-Hammer” Brawley 62, passed away July 15, 2019 at his residence in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Terry Glenn ”Tex-Hammer” Brawley was born on June 14, 1957 in Anson, TX to Arthur Edward Brawley and Geneva Merle (McCoy) Brawley. He attended Anson’s Public Schools where he received his education and graduated with the Class of 1975. After receiving his education he move to Abilene, TX. In the late 1990’s he moved to Bartlesville, OK, where he was a Real Estate Abstractor. He was a very hard worker and was a perfectionist at everything he did.
Terry had a passion for music and loved playing the drums. He had the privilege of playing with Magnum, Full House, The David Dover Band and many other bands during his musical career. He enjoyed art work and watching sports especially basketball. He was a very knowledgeable guy that could do anything he set his mind to and made it look easy. He had a heart of gold and would do just about anything for anyone. He loved his family and friends dearly.
Terry is survived by his three children Travis Brawley, Tyler Brawley and Lucy Brawley; one brother John Brawley and wife Beckie of Lubbock, TX; best friend Angie Luster of Bartlesville, OK; beloved pet Sally Jack, and multitude of family and friends. Terry will be missed by all who knew him.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents Arthur Brawley and Geneva (McCoy) Brawley.
