Vern Clem

Vern L Clem went to be with the Lord Friday, November 24, at his home in Grove. He was 77. Vern was born December 16, 1928 to William and Verna Clem at Mulberry, Ks. Vern was a member of the Osage tribe of Indians, an active member of the Bible Baptist Church, and a thirty year member of the Union of Operating Engineers. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty eight years, Betty (Rhodes) Clem. Survivors include three sons; Gerald and June of Texarkana, Arkansas; Randy of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Mike and Debbie of Fort Smith, Arkansas. He is also survived by his brother Jim and Debbie of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and two great- great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Bible Baptist Church on 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 29, 2006. Rev. Guy Morrow to officiate. Burial will follow immediately at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
