William Ellenburg

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, OK....918-253-3222....William "Billy" Lee Ellenburg, age 61, passed away at Integris Grove Hospital, Grove, Oklahoma on Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Billy was born on February 15, 1954 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Charles Ellenburg and Norma Faye (Trout) Ellenburg. Billy worked in the print shop at the Friendship Homes. He enjoyed singing, dancing, cowboy movies, and traveling. He was a big jokester and enjoyed making people laugh. In fact April Fool's Day was one of his favorite holidays. He was an Elvis Presley fan where he had an all access pass to Graceland. He will be greatly missed. Survivors include father Charles Ellenburg and his wife of Houston, TX; one brother Joe Holt of Tulsa, OK; one aunt Bessie Lancaster of Jay, OK; close friend and guardian Alicia Jory; and a host of family in Jay, and friends from the Delaware County Friendship Home. He was preceded in death by his mother Norma Faye Ellenburg. Funeral services will be held at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel, Jay, OK on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 2PM with Brother Bill Fernandez, presiding. Burial will follow at Spavinaw Strang Cemetery, Spavinaw, OK. Visitation will be from 12PM to 2PM on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, OK.
