William "Bill" Hancock

William Paul (Bill) Hancock, 70, passed away on October 28, 2022, at Ascension St. John Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville, OK. Bill was born on December 6, 1951, in Nowata,
Oklahoma to John Douglas and Maud (Bacon) Hancock.

Bill grew up in Nowata and graduated from Nowata High School in 1971. For several years, Bill worked as a machinist in valve manufacturing. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and friends, and was well-known for his knowledge of and passion for repairing and assembling firearms.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and also by his first wife, Patty (Gorley) Hancock.

Bill is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Ray and husband, Tyler, and his grandchildren Molly Watts, Grace Watts, and Griffin Watts, all of Kansas City, MO.
